What we Do
Mange-tout Cooking School is an educational facility, offering tuition in a wide range of culinary skills to the public and corporate world in a fun, safe environment. We run classes (subject to a maximum of 12 people) throughout the year at its purpose-built cooking studio, in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
The venue is also available for corporate and private functions – birthdays, kitchen teas, and dinner parties with a difference.
Our classes are hands-on, where every person gets to participate in the preparation of the dishes. They are also a lot of fun where you not only learn new skills, but get to meet people with similar interests. For corporate groups these classes are a novel way of creating staff interaction.

About our Chef
Isabelle Lauriault has had a life-long passion for producing top class cuisine. She has trained in the finest establishments under professional Chef’s and has studied in all spheres of cookery.
Her relaxed manner makes working in the kitchen fun whilst she passes on her extensive experience to both aspiring beginners as well as accomplished cooks. Izzy’s well-rounded knowledge covers all aspects of cooking, from basic techniques to advanced dishes that turn you into a master of your own kitchen!

The first corporate cook-out......all ZAMBIANS and all novices but we mastered the italian cuisine 3 course challenge with FUN, PURPOSE and CONFIDENCE. I have attended two of Izzy's Monday evening cookery classes. It was fun to learn and cook with strangers who become friends as we sat outside eating the marvellous dinner we had all prepared. Izzy explains the recipes fully and is always on hand to answer any questions, keeping a sense of fun and calm when we are all bombarding her with our many enquiries. The kitchen facilities at Mange-tout are amazing including a solar air conditioner, and alfresco outside dining. I will be back.
What a great way to spend time together, learn something new (both recipes and technique) and share the good time with others!
Can't think of a better way to spend a Monday evening! We had so much fun learning a new skill and will no doubt be back for more! Well done Izzy for bringing 'Master Chef' to Lusaka!
